The "Atami Cherry Blossoms" that can be enjoyed in January and February have completely turned into leafy cherry blossoms.

So we can't enjoy cherry blossoms anymore?Not at all!

Another type of cherry blossom can be enjoyed in the area maintained on the right side of Atami Sun Beach.

20 minute walk from Atami Station. If you go by bus, get off at bus stop "Ginza". It is near Shinsui Park.

We have a macaron-shaped monaka with cherry blossom petals kneaded into the red bean paste. The pink glutinous rice skin is filled with a slightly salty white bean paste. It can also be sold individually. Payment by credit card is accepted.

The night view of Atami is also recommended.

At night, Atami Sun Beach is illuminated. It is common for the beach to be lit up, but it is rare for the sandy beach to be lit up as well.

The lights are on from sunset to 10:00 p.m., but there are hotels and private houses near the beach, and some people sleep there.

Please refrain from shouting even if you are enjoying yourself.

Fireworks displays are usually held in summer. However, Atami City holds fireworks displays all year round.

The next one is scheduled to be held on November 20.(2022)

It will be approximately 30 minutes long and 3,000 fireworks will be shot off.

It takes one hour from Tokyo to Atami by Shinkansen bullet train.

You can enjoy it as a day trip.

The fireworks display will be held rain or shine.May be cancelled on days of typhoons or strong winds.

The Atami Fireworks Festival is always a popular event.

Fireworks displays are usually held in summer, but Atami's fireworks display is held year-round.
Many people take lodgings to coincide with this event. Because Atami has a bowl-shaped topography, sound resonates very strongly.

If you watch it on the beach, the dynamic sound will echo through your body!

The duration of the event is 25 minutes.The 5,000 fireworks that are launched during this time are very spectacular.

It takes 50 minutes from Tokyo Station to Atami by Shinkansen bullet train.

It is also possible to make a one-day trip to Atami.

It is less sweet and served with matcha green tea syrup and matcha green tea powder from Shizuoka on the top. Shiratama rice-flour dumplings are also garnished and red bean paste is topped on them. Please be careful not drop the red bean paste. It can easily fall off.

★Hot roasted green tea and salty sakura shrimp rice crackers are served with the shaved ice.

A Japanese style cafe run by Tokiwagi Yokanten, a Japanese confectionery in Atami. You can have coffee, tea, and matcha with Yokan, Japanese traditional sweet beans jelly, and Japanese sweets made from rice cake sold at the store. (We do not serve meals)

There has been no outbreak of the novel coronavirus at cafes and souvenir shops in Atami City.
